About Diaz Diggity Dog

Hi! I'm Julien Diaz — veteran, military spouse, mom, and lifelong animal lover. After years of working in animal rescue and even experience in vet medicine as a tech, I decided to pour my heart into something of my own: Diaz Diggity Dog.

At Diaz Diggity Dog, we’re more than just a pet boarding service — we’re a home-away-from-home for your furry family members. Our family- and veteran-owned business offers loving, personalized care with the kind of attention only true animal people can give. With experience in dog rescue, medical care, behavior, and training, you can trust that your pets are in knowledgeable and compassionate hands.

We’re proud to serve fellow military families and our local Maryland community with flexible, reliable, and affordable care options for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets. Whether your pup needs a weekend getaway, a little training support, or just someone to snuggle while you’re away — we’ve got you covered.

Welcome to the Diggity Dog family — where your pets are treated like our own!

Meet Our Pack

At Diaz Diggity Dog, our resident dogs are more than just pets—they’re family, teachers, and the heart of our home. Get to know the crew that helps us welcome every new guest with wagging tails and loving energy.

Gwen – The Queen Bee

13-Year-Old English Bulldog

Gwen is our sassy senior with a heart of gold. She’s loving and loyal but definitely prefers her peace and quiet. Think of her as the grumpy grandma who wants her snacks, her spot on the couch, and no nonsense. She may not be the life of the party, but she’s royalty in our home.

Marshall – The Gentle Warrior

5-Year-Old Dalmatian

Marshall came to us through rescue after bravely battling cancer. He had an ear removed during treatment, but he's been cancer-free for over two years and is now living his best life. Sweet, affectionate, and full of charm, Marshall makes sure every dog feels safe and seen.

Mathers – The Comeback Kid

5-Year-Old Dalmatian

Mathers was surrendered by a breeder, arriving timid and unsure of the world. After a year of fostering, we couldn’t imagine life without him. Now adopted and thriving, he’s outgoing, goofy, and always ready to play or cuddle. He’s the ultimate example of what love and patience can do.

Bonsai

13 years old | Born in Japan

Bonsai is our wise and gentle soul. Born and adopted in Japan, he’s been Mom’s loyal companion through every adventure. Don’t let his age fool you—this mellow boy still has a playful spark and a love for cozy snuggles. He’s the ultimate Mama’s boy and proud of it!

Catty Caterson

1 year old | Foster Fail from Texas

Catty is the life of the party in feline form! With her bold personality and playful spirit, she wins over hearts everywhere she goes. She adores people, other animals, and making new friends—she’s never met a stranger she didn’t like!
